Spooktacular work for the BBC
One of the latest pieces I worked on was for BBC National Orchestra Wales.
I had to supply the illustration with all its layers so the design team could adapt the design to suit the different print formats. With it needing to work for various sizes and the designers dropping the text over the top I was not quite sure how the finals were going to look until I saw them out an about. I am really pleased with the results as it's always nice to see work blown up and is my first ever billboard!

No. 31 launch party
Greetings card and stationery publisher Urban Graphic have opened a shop! To celebrate they hosted a launch party where many of their contributors and special guests (including me) were asked to illustrate a
postcard .These were then wrapped and sold blindly raising £500 for charity. Here are some images from the night (taken by Nic Zane)
Valentines Card
One of my illustrations was also purchased by Urban Graphic for their Toasted range of cards. I spotted it in Paperchase alongsides some other great designs by other illustrators and designers.
Gemalto
I worked on a number of illustrations for Gemalto on different subjects. The top image was an article about 4G being introduced and how it should be leaps ahead of 3G. Another article was about instant bank cards being issued in Saudi Arabia to save time and money as they have a lack of a standardized address system. This was making posting out cards and pins tricky.
Tanfeeth
Working with the Art Director at Wardour I created some full page illustrations for their client Tanfeeth. They were used as full page images and were great to work on as I really like the clilents brand colour palette.
Winterwell branding
Earlier in the year I was asked to create a number of illustrations for Winterwell festival. Images have been used across the site and on a number of promotional pieces and emails. The festival is all about great fun, music and food and set in a beautiful part of the English countryside (with a bit of fancy dress thrown in too)
The festival has a great following and I will be taking 7 of my friends away for what looks set to be a great weekend.
Speedy illustration for the Radio Times
I was recently commissioned by the Radio Times to do this illustration about the clocks going forward and the hour being lost. Ironically the turnaround time was very speedy too!
Statoil
Just before I left for my travels I was commissioned through YCN to do this illustration for Statoil. It was a nice open brief where they wanted to convey the concept of being 'green'.
Cuba & Mexico
Some of you may be aware that I have been out of the studio over the summer as I was lucky enough to go travelling. For those who didn't as well as spending time in the USA meeting up with some great design agencies I also travelled across to Mexico and Cuba. Hopefully the images above give some idea of the things and places I encountered along the way. My brain and pad are now overloaded with all sorts of possible ideas for some new images!
Helping to beat poverty - new work for CAP
Here are just some of the illustrations I worked on with CAP (Christians Against Poverty). The illustrations were used for a small brochure and the balloon image also got used for an exhibition graphic.
