Statoil

Just before I left for my travels I was commissioned through YCN to do this illustration for Statoil. It was a nice open brief where they wanted to convey the concept of being 'green'.

Cuba & Mexico

Some of you may be aware that I have been out of the studio over the summer as I was lucky enough to go travelling. For those who didn't as well as spending time in the USA meeting up with some great design agencies I also travelled across to Mexico and Cuba. Hopefully the images above give some idea of the things and places I encountered along the way.  My brain and pad are now overloaded with all sorts of possible ideas for some new images!

Helping to beat poverty - new work for CAP

Here are just some of the illustrations I worked on with CAP (Christians Against Poverty). The illustrations were used for a small brochure and the balloon image also got used for an exhibition graphic.
In this months issue of Sainsbury's magazine there is another small spot in its usual place within the beauty section.

SNUG Gallery

For those in West Yorkshire you should pop down to Hebden Bridge and have a snoop around SNUG. They have a great selection of work from a range of artists, illustrators, designers and more! If you look closely you may even stumble across some of my limited edition prints!

Jamie Magazine

I was commissioned through YCN at the end of last year to produce some illustrations for an article on Cider within Jamie Olivers magazine. They also has some information about me on the contributors page. The magazine is out in the shops now so I can show you what I got up to - great client, great subject and really well printed - all in all a great job!

Annual reports dont have to be dull!

Last year I worked with Playne Design producing the annual report for one of their clients. I was asked to produce some very graphic and predominantly type based illustrations based on the concept of 'A Winning Formula'. I really like the striking colours they chose to use on the black.

New year, work and clients...

This quill and ink form part of a busier illustration but I quite liked it as a stand alone object. I have just completed some illustrations for Jamie Oliver magazine (commissioned through YCN)  which were great fun to produce all on the subject of Cider - I cant post anything yet but keep your eyes peeled!

More work for Playne Design

A while ago the lovely people at
Playne Design commissioned me to do some nice simple illustrations for one of their clients. I was recently asked to do a few more new spots for Shepherds Bush Housing Groups stand as part of Forum 3 at the Business Design Centre in London. All illustrations were printed onto vinyl and stuck into a mock up home environment. It turns out they won 'best large stand' too!
